Hey Distance,
Looks like we are going to change modes here for a bit and focus on great running, having fun and improving our total running ability. It's also time for all of us to learn how to be active participants in our own training. To do this I've created virtual team challenges. To meet these challenges you will have to develop a week of training to meet the goals of the challenge you choose. This will require a mix of training types to meet the goals. Need more milage? time to run easy pace for your portion of the weeks goals, need more vertical? time to hit those hill reps! need to drop the team average time? time to hit those repeat 200,300,400s at mile race pace.
Team Strava Group
Rules
1. Set up a strava account if you don't have one.
2. Reach out to your teammates and alums and build teams.
3. Your team size is built around your challenge and yes you can be part of more than one team.
4. Track your training on strava and work to complete your team challenge.
5. Document your training on social media as well. Tag your teammates, share with the team accounts, share with the races you have chosen and tag famous runners from those races.
Here are the challenges
5x5
Five teammates combine to run 5 American marathons over a week of training. Choose which marathons you want to run and as a team combine your efforts to cover the total milage, vertical gain and average the paces to have a finish time
6x6
Six teammates combine to run 6 international races of any distance. Choose which races you want to run and as a team combine your efforts to match total milage, vertical gain, and here is the twist attempt to beat race record in any one of the races.
7x7
Seven teammates over 7 days combine to run 3 ultras of varying distances. Choose which ultras you want to run as a team and combine your efforts to cover the total milage, vertical gain and have your average team time beat the best time in ALL of the races you have chosen.
Last but not least we need challenge team leaders! If you want to be a challenge team leader drop your name in the comments with which challenge you want to lead. We will get your name out to your teammates and get you organized.

OK
So if we aren't physically getting together as a team (which we absolutely should not be doing) lets put together a list of favorite running videos.
I'll put some up here and you add some in the comments
